Giorgio is truly exceptional with children, effortlessly earning their respect and creating an environment where they feel completely at ease. He has this remarkable ability to keep them engaged and eager to learn more. But what sets him apart is his profound understanding of the power of Gregorian chant..... It's ignited a newfound reverence within my daughter's heart, elevating her love and understanding of the Mass to new heights. And what's even more remarkable is the ripple effect it has on other children.....It's a truly transformative experience that enriches not only their spiritual journey but also the lives of those around them.

Learning to sing chant has made such a difference in my daughters’ ability to better understand and interpret what they’re singing in order to help them recognize the beauty of chant and sacred music in the liturgy. They have gained confidence through singing and I frequently find them listening and practicing it on their own which is such a blessing.

Bio
My name is Giorgio. I grew up in Northern California and began my musical formation at the age of seven. I deeply loved music from the start. I had never thought teaching children would be my passion and joy in life. Having started teaching at the age of 13, I began to gradually uncover the secrets of children's music education (which is a leviathan in its own right).
When I joined a sacred music choir that sang for the Latin mass at the age of 14, a whole new world of music opened up to me. I began singing it, writing it, conducting it; I essentially started breathing it. And NOW, I'm teaching it!
What do I do when I'm not teaching Gregorian chant?
I love hiking the great mountain ranges of the world (just did the Himalayas), Jiu Jitsu, reading, song-writing, and bringing family & friends together.

"Musical training boosts language skills and IQ levels, likely promoting better integration of cognitive, emotional, social, and motor networks in the brain. Studies have also shown that musical training can improve mood and emotion regulation in children. Although fewer studies have been conducted on the neuroscience of spirituality, the studies that do exist also indicate that spirituality and music share key neuroanatomy."
